Defensive Driving course
This is a basic introductory course. To equip you with a live saving skill to create time and space on the road. Make your everyday driving an adventure. Learn how to get street wise, spot disguised road hazard clues. Be really cool, predict the actions of other road users and potential hazards. This course will give you the skill to plan escape routes in time, in a guided out drive. Be a good buddy; learn the dangers of alcohol and driving. Paramedics will complete the picture with a basic first aid and accident control lecture.
In an addition to the practical part of the course you will also learn to:
- Value the live of your passengers and drive responsible. – Alcohol and the law.
- Understand the dangers of speed and how it will influence your cars stopping distance.
- Do the walk of live – important vehicle maintenance checks,
- Change a flat tyre on your vehicle.
- Set the correct seating position according to your cars restrain systems.
- Set your mirrors and be aware of your vehicle’s blind spots.
- Know your vehicle unique technology and basic safety features such as ABS and airbags.
- Do basic first aid
- Understand the basics of HIV.
Minimum of 10 people per course.
